- Alcoholics Anonymous: Washington Area Intergroup Association (WAIA) - WAIA is the official online resource for Alcoholics Anonymous in the Nation's Capital. Local Phone: (202) 966-9115
- Alcoholics Anonymous - The official A.A. World Services and General Service Office website contains information on A.A. in English, Spanish and French. Included in this site are the A.A. Fact File and many on-line versions of A.A. pamphlets.
- AA Grapevine - The Grapevine is the international journal of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is sometimes referred to as A.A.'s Meeting in Print. This site contains general Grapevine information including article submission policies and A.A. historical information.
- AA Intergroup Phone Numbers and Websites - An "intergroup" (sometimes referred to as a “central office”) is an A.A. service office supported by A.A. groups established to help carry the A.A. message. This site has a list of AA Intergroup Phone Numbers and other resources available online.
- AA Speaker Tapes - a large collection of recordings, available for download or on-line listening, including such favorites as some of Bill W.'s original speeches and Joe and Charlie's “The Big Book Comes Alive”.

- The Big Book Web Site - Good for on-screen reading. Includes the "Personal Stories" from the First Edition.
- The Big Book Comes Alive - a large collection of recordings (Real Audio format) including Joe and Charlie's “The Big Book Comes Alive”. Joe and Charlie's Big Book study can also be downloaded (MP3 format) from XA Speakers.

- Big Book Dictionary and Glossary - Line-by-line glossary of the Big Book.
- Big Book Search Engine - Unofficial Big Book Search site.
- Big Book Study Guide - With emphasis upon Principles before Personalities, this Study Guide, written by Ken W., a member of A.A. for more than 50 years, is dedicated to those who want recovery from alcoholism, but have trouble with the word “God”.
- How the Big Book Was Put Together - Reprint of a talk given by Bill W in 1954.
- That Ain't in the Book! - “We hear a lot of stuff said in meetings that can't be reconciled with the program as described in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous”. This site lists the corresponding page and paragraph from the Big Book that deals with a particular subject.
- Deaf & Hard of Hearing AA 12 Step Recovery Resources - Links to AA Central Offices, Intergroups, and Answering Services for US and Canada with TTY Equipment, Treatment Centers AA Cooperation With Treatment Facilities (CTF), articles, books and videos. Links to worldwide resources for family and friends of alcoholics.
- GSO Watch - This site serves as a watch-dog over what Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. is doing and not doing regarding AA Traditions and AA principles. Much of the information contained on this site has been tried to be suppressed from A.A. members.
- How It (An AA Group) Works - Rarely have we seen a group fail that has thoroughly followed AA's Traditions.
- The Original “How it Works” - You'll find some of the wording very interesting.
- The Jaywalker Site - Excellent resources, including a downloadable 4th Step Guide (plus an inventory for groups) as well as “Big Book Twelve Step Guides”, an interesting look at the Promises and the Carl Jung to Bill Wilson letter. Check this site out!
- Online Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous - The Online Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous was formed to serve all online A.A. Here you will get information on A.A., email & real-time meetings, events & conventions.
- Silkworth dot Net - Named after Dr. William Duncan Silkworth, this site has oodles of information.
- 12 Concepts Checklist - Additional information about the Concepts can be found in the A.A. Service Manual/Twelve Concepts for World Service and the Twelve Concepts Illustrated pamphlet.
- 12-Step Guide - Not conference approved, but pretty good stuff!
- The 12 Traditions of AA - Another Look at the 12 Traditions of AA.
- 12 Traditions Checklist - “These questions were originally published in the AA Grapevine in conjunction with a series on the Twelve Traditions that began in November 1969 and ran through September 1971. While they were originally intended primarily for individual use, many AA groups have since used them as a basis for wider discussion”.

Chemical Dependency Resources
- Chemically Dependent Anonymous(CDA)
- CDA ideals entirely with the disease of addiction. We of CDA do not make distinctions in the recovery process based on any particular substance, believing that the addictive-compulsive usage of chemicals is the core of our disease and the use of any mood-changing chemical will result in relapse.
- Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) - CMA is a fellowship of men and women for whom all drugs, specifically Crystal Meth, have become a problem. The site provides the user with basic information about CMA, and their goals, and the twelve-step personal recovery plan.
- Cocaine Anonymous - Cocaine Anonymous, a mainstream 12-Step Fellowship, using the A.A. book (with permission) as its basic text, is open to all persons who state a desire to stop using cocaine, including "crack" cocaine, as well as all other mind-altering substances. They have been in existence since 1982, and currently have over 2,000 weekly meetings in North America and England.
- Marijuana Anonymous - Marijuana Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from marijuana addiction.
