As we sadly are unlikely to return to the old clubhouse again, your Triangle Club board and manager wanted to keep you updated as we begin our move. Below are some photos of your favorite meeting areas for the last 30 years! Without the people or chairs, all empty and quiet – it starts to feel very real! As packing up continued, we found some hidden treasures! First, behind a locked and reinforced cabinet door in the small room: years’ worth of games from club social events, some still unopened! Don’t worry they’ll come with us. Other finds include old signs (see photo of Board members Preston P and Ross D presenting), and posters about membership – one with words almost straight out of Eileen G’s mouth!

Speaking of memberships & donations, they’re critically important these days. The Club’s capital campaign has been off to a good start: even as we kept a low profile (given how many other causes were fundraising this fall), the community was able to give over $20,000 to the Club so far, almost halfway to our goal of $50,000 before we open the new clubhouse. These donations will cover moving costs, and our shortfalls in meeting rents and fundraising as a result of our closure due to COVID-19.

We’re excited to kick-off a special donation match period in the campaign: thanks to the generosity of two anonymous members, all donations to the Club starting on Thanksgiving Day will be matched at 100% until we’ve raised the remaining $30,000 needed to meet our campaign goal. We are incredibly appreciative to these fellows for their commitment and service, and to all of you who will accept this challenge and double your contribution to the Club.
